J. Steven Quiroz is a Vegan Beauty Consultant working with MONAT (stands for Modern Nature).

MONAT specializes in vegan beauty products for skin, hair, and wellness. Steven shares that their main goal is to change people’s lives making sure that people have access to clean products. 

Throughout his journey as a beauty consultant, Steven learned a lot about how toxic ingredients like sulfates, parabens, and silicons are harmful to the body. There are a lot of substances that we normally don’t even know as a lot of us think that all the products being sold in the supermarket are safe. However, Steven found out that FDA only has 11 banned ingredients and the list has not been reviewed for a long time now.  European standards on the other hand have over 2,000 banned ingredients and these are the standards they follow. 

Learning a lot about harmful ingredients and how they can affect him in the long term was how Steven got into the beauty industry. 

Now, Steven has a team of over 330 members consisting of mostly women. A lot of them are single mothers and Steven takes pride in being able to help them achieve their goals for themselves and for their families. Helping people accomplish something whether big or small is where his passion lies.
